MUMPRENEUR WORKSHOP: STARTING A SMALL BUSINESS RIGHT! on a WEEKEND


We are bringing our popular Mumpreneur Workshop to a weekend for the first time.

This will also be the last run of this workshop till August 2012, as our trainers take a short break.
FULL HOUSE!

Many mums who want work-family balance consider starting their own business. But for some, it can be overwhelming to get it all together. Highly interactive, with actual guides and know-how's. The last few workshops were run at full capacity.
Based on past feedback, we have extended and included MORE topics in our improvised version of this popular workshop

WHO IS THIS WORKSHOP FOR?
Mothers who are:
* thinking of starting their own business
* in the early stages of planning their own business
* own a blog shop and would like to formalise it into a registered business/ taking it to the next level
* keen to learn a little more about branding/ marketing your small business

FORMAT OF THE WORKSHOP:
Includes an actual sharing session by a successful Mumpreneur (who has been in business for a few years), this workshop tries to tailor to answer common queries of MUMpreneurs.
Interactive, participants are encouraged to play an active role in the learning process, with a workbook on end to faciliate the actual brainstorming session.

    Everyone knows it can be very hard to find satisfactory part-time work OR work-from-home positions that match your exact qualifications.

    So perhaps the best way to get a well-compensated, rewarding, fulfilling part-time job is to NEGOTIATE A MORE FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE WITH YOUR CURRENT EMPLOYER.


    WHO IS THIS WORKSHOP FOR?
    Mothers who are currently in full-time roles and wanting to convert their existing position into an FWA role. We will focus on EXECUTIVE & MANAGERIAL ROLES.
    Flexible Work Arrangement includes:
  • Working-from-home for a selected number of hours per week
  • Working Part-time, instead of Full-time, but handling the same role/ job function
  • Compressed Work Week

    WORKSHOP OUTLINE:
    Designed as a step-by-step guide on "HOW TO", this workshop will discuss the mindset required prior to ask for a conversion to a Flexible-Work Arrangement (FWA). Based on scenario planning exercises, participants will be provided with some basic tools on how they can request for their current full-time roles to be converted into FWAs.

    Following the success of the introductory talk by Mr Goh Kok Min at our Mumpreneur Networking Brunch, we are now running the hands-on session whereby Mr Goh will take Mumpreneurs through the process of setting up a corporate website for their small businesses.
    Attendees have to bring along their own laptops, as this is a handson session.
    Website created is hosted on google.com, and is therefore Free of Charge
    All Participants will leave with a website successfully created!
