RESPONSIBILITIES

The Arts Foundry is looking for passionate and reliable Teaching Artists to support our growing school and enrichment programmes in Singapore. We create thoughtful arts learning experiences for children and young learners across music, movement, drama and creative enrichment. Our work is built around joyful participation, strong classroom presence, age-appropriate learning and meaningful creative outcomes. This role is suitable for educators, performers, musicians, drama practitioners, dance or movement specialists, and creative facilitators who enjoy working with children and can bring warmth, structure and imagination into the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging arts-based lessons, workshops or enrichment sessions for children and young learners
• Create safe, inclusive and age-appropriate creative learning environments
• Adapt activities for different age groups, abilities and school settings
• Support students in developing confidence, creativity, collaboration and performance skills
• Communicate professionally with The Arts Foundry team and school partners
• Prepare simple lesson materials when required
• Represent The Arts Foundry with care, reliability and professionalism

REQUIREMENTS

We Are Looking For Someone Who
• Has experience teaching or facilitating children and young learners
• Has a background in music, drama, dance, movement, theatre, creative arts or arts education
• Is confident managing groups of students in a school or enrichment setting
• Is warm, dependable, organised and child-centred
• Can adapt quickly and work well with different learners
• Communicates clearly and professionally
• Is open to freelance, project-based or part-time opportunities

Nice To Have
• Experience working in schools, preschools, enrichment centres or community arts settings
• Experience preparing students for showcases, performances or creative presentations
• Knowledge of primary or early years arts education
• Ability to teach across more than one creative area
