RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develop customised food safety management systems and Halal related documents for new/ existing clients and update as required2. Conduct food safety audits at food premises to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and standard requirements
3. Apply SFA related licences on behalf of clients
4. Review food labels according to latest food labelling requirements
5. Manage and provide food safety technical advisory for clients
6. Thorough understanding of food safety and nutrition regulations, HACCP principles and industry best practices
7. Knowledge of food safety management systems on FSSC 22000 and Halal is an advantage
8. Staying up-to-date with the latest food safety regulations and industry standards
9. Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Food Science & Nutrition, Food Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent)2. At least 5 years of experience in a food safety auditing, consulancy or quality assurance role within the food and beverage industry
3. Preferably to have FSSC 22000 Internal Auditor certified (or equivalent)
4. A responsible team player with a positive attitude and able to work independently, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn
