RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an empathetic, highly knowledgeable, and proactive Senior Career Services Specialist to drive learner success through expert career advisory and robust employer partnerships. In this role, you will be the primary domain expert for career-related inquiries, guiding learners through their career transitions while actively building a network of recruiting partners to create tangible employment opportunities. This is a high-impact, learner-facing role where your industry knowledge and relationship-building skills will directly influence learner outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Career Advisory & Learner Engagement
• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for all career-related topics, providing personalized guidance on resume building, interview preparation, and job search strategies.
• Conduct 1-on-1 and group coaching sessions to address learner queries, overcome career barriers, and build confidence in their professional transition.
• Design and deliver career readiness workshops and masterclasses tailored to the needs of mid-career switchers and upskilling professionals.
• Collaborate with program track leads and coaches to ensure career support is seamlessly integrated into the overall learner journey.
Recruitment Partnership Building
• Identify and build strategic relationships with hiring managers, recruiters, and talent acquisition leaders across target industries.
• Actively source and curate job opportunities that align with the skills profiles of RISE 2.0 graduates.
• Organize and host employer engagement events, including networking sessions, career fairs, and industry panel discussions.
• Serve as the bridge between employer needs and learner capabilities, advocating for our RISE graduates in the talent market.
Program Management
• Identify learners who are struggling with their job search and proactively step in with targeted career interventions and support plans.
• Work with external stakeholders and partners to ensure we deliver the best in class career services for our learners.

REQUIREMENTS

Key Competencies
• Deep domain expertise in career coaching, recruitment, or talent acquisition.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to empathetically engage learners and build relationship with potential corporate partners.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills for delivering impactful workshops and coaching sessions.
• Strategic relationship management and B2B partnership building capabilities.
• A strong, existing network within the Singapore recruitment or HR landscape is highly advantageous.
• A genuine passion for adult education, upskilling, and driving social impact.
What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
• More than 4 years of hands-on experience in career services, recruitment, talent acquisition, or B2B partnership development.
• Proven track record of successfully guiding individuals through career transitions or placing candidates in relevant roles.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with corporate employers and hiring partners.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you are required to balance learner-facing duties with strategic outreach.
• Prior experience in the education, edtech, or workforce development sectors is a strong plus.
