RESPONSIBILITIES

Mission: Fruit@TheOffice is a social enterprise, certified BCorp (business for good).
We aim to help companies foster healthier workplace habits by replacing unhealthy office snacks with fresh fruit and wholesome alternatives. The Business Development Manager will spearhead growth in Singapore, building partnerships with large corporations and introducing our healthy-snack offering to their teams — one office at a time.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify, target and engage large enterprises (corporations, co-working offices, multinational offices, SMEs) that could benefit from regular healthy-snack deliveries.
- Develop and manage a qualified lead pipeline — cold outreach (email / phone / LinkedIn), networking, referrals, and partnerships.
- Build relationships with HR, Office-Management, Facilities, or Wellness teams within target companies.
- Pitch Fruit@TheOffice’s value proposition: employee health & wellness, convenience, corporate wellness / ESG / CSR benefits.
- Design and propose tailored healthy-snack / fruit-delivery plans for corporate clients (e.g. weekly fruit baskets, snack-bar replacements, wellness-day packages).
- Negotiate contracts, pricing and terms with corporate clients; manage onboarding for new clients.
- Monitor customer satisfaction, feedback, and retention; liaise with operations/fulfillment teams to ensure reliable delivery and quality.
- Work closely with marketing, operations and supply-chain teams to align deliveries, seasonal fruit sourcing, quality standards, and branding when dealing with corporate clients.
- Meet or exceed sales / growth / client acquisition targets set by management.
- Represent Fruit@TheOffice at business-networking events (Chamber of Commerce) or corporate expos in Singapore.
- Supervise packing of the weekly orders at the warehouse every Tuesday morning.

Note: The only fixed time is warehouse on Tuesday mornings. Apart from that, you can organize your work the way you want.

REQUIREMENTS

Skills & Experience Required:
- At least 5 years experience in B2B business development / sales / account management — ideally selling services or consumables to corporate clients.
- Proven track record of acquiring and managing corporate accounts (ideally large enterprises or multinationals).
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills in English; additional languages (e.g. Mandarin) a plus.
- Strong networking skills and ability to build trust with HR / Facilities / Office-management stakeholders.
- Results-driven, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently and proactively identifying leads.
- Good understanding of workplace wellness / corporate wellness / ESG / employee-benefit value propositions (or interest in learning).
- Organizational skills, ability to coordinate between sales, operations, and logistic teams.
- Comfortable working in a start-up environment: flexible, hands-on, willing to wear multiple hats.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 9 to 5pm, but flexible.
